Welcome to the ​Defender of Blind Right in Africa (D-BRAF)
Defender of Blind Rights in Africa (D-BRAF) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of visually impaired individuals in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Established in 2025 as a Company Limited by Guarantee, D-BRAF works to empower blind and visually impaired people through education, skills training, advocacy, and support services.

We believe that every individual, regardless of visual ability, deserves dignity, respect, and equal opportunities. Our mission is to provide the tools, resources, and encouragement that enable visually impaired persons to live independent, confident, and fulfilling lives.

Through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and faith-inspired action, D-BRAF strives to break barriers, promote inclusion, and build a society where visually impaired individuals are valued, empowered, and able to thrive.
